+ Tell us a little bit about yourself...

I have been a group fitness instructor for 35 years. In that time, I have taught everything from high/low impact aerobics to step to indoor cycling and Body Pump. I have done triathlons, adventure racing, marathons and ultra-marathons. I was able to achieve my goal of becoming a personal trainer in 2011 after retiring from my “real job” as a claims manager for a property/casualty insurance company. My husband and I will celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in 2022.

+ What made you want to become a trainer and what do you enjoy most about it?

Fitness has been an important part of my life for many years. I wanted to share that with others and felt that I now have the opportunity to do that on a one-to-one basis. I enjoy the relationships I have developed with my clients and the feedback that lets me know what I do is making a difference in their lives.

+ What should members expect when working with you?

My goal is to help them reach their goals, but they need to know that will take time and effort on their part. And, I am probably going to push them beyond their comfort zone.
